“Lytherva”,
meaning Post Office in Cornish, much of which dates back to the
14th century (watch out for the low doorways!).
It
comprises of a Lounge
with wood burning stove, a Dining
Room, a modern fitted Kitchen
and a bathroom with bath and shower on the ground floor.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other
with twin bunk beds. There
is also a sofa bed in the lounge. It
has electric storage radiators and cooking is on LP Gas. At the
rear is a small cottage garden.
The cottage
is well equipped, with TV and video, stereo, fridge, freezer and
washing machine. No dishwasher though, the septic tank drainage
prevents that! Towels and linen are provided.
There are
also a selection of books and games, should the weather prove variable.
